Delivery and Installation

SMP safes are installed by highly qualified installers that take great care in installing safes to various locations.  We aim to meet all customers’ requirements no matter where the installation may be. We do this through the help of our highly comprehensive transport department that aim to meet all installations to European EN 1143, BS 1183 and EN14450 standards.

SMP take health and safety into account at every stage from manufacture of the product to installation.  We therefore offer site surveys that can be carried out upon request by one of our highly qualified surveyors.  The survey ensures that the installers are aware prior to installation of any essential factors on site.  This also allows our surveyors to inform installers of extra equipment that may be required to install the safe without risk to personal property.

The site survey will allow SMP to assess access to the building, different equipment required to move the safe and to ultimately assess the floor that the safe will be bolted into.  This may require further analysis by a qualified building engineer/architect.
