Shelves

We have various sized shelves that can be added to SMP Safes. Some safes already come with pre fitted shelves however we give customers the option of adding more shelves if required. We can fit a number of different shelves to all different safes.  So upon placing an order please do ask how many shelves can be added to the safe in question. 

Drawers

Various drawers can be added to different sized safes.  We offer two variants in size of drawers, offer both 3” and 6” deep drawers.

Capsule Deposit Features

We offer 3 different capsule deposit features.  These features allow the capsule to be dropped into the safe without having to open the safe.  These features are very helpful as they increase the safety for individuals using the safe.  For example the Pneumatic Deposit System can be installed through a wall whilst the safe can be stored in a back office out of sight.  

The four different capsule deposit features that SMP offer are: -

• Pneumatic Deposit System – A Pneumatic system allowing cash to be transferred from a cash till via a pneumatic tube, directly into a safe located in another part of the building, such as a cash office.
• Rotatube – The rotatube is a superbly designed tubular deposit system which receives plastic capsules contacting cash or valuables for depositing through the outer matrix of the safe into the inner chamber.  Once in the inner chamber the lockable security cap lifts to expose the capsule receiving chamber to ensure high security at all times.   
• Telescopic Capsule Deposit Tube – The telescopic capsule deposit tube is used to deposit capsules containing cash or valuables into a safe through a wall or a partition varying in thicknesses.

Rotunda Deposit Trap

The externally mounted Rotary Deposit Trap has been redesigned with more sophisticated internally mounted rotary deposit facility, which is protected by standard safe wall thickness.  It is a first class protection against oxy-arc, disc cutting and sledge hammer attacks. 

An important factor is to understand that all major insurance companies have agreed not to reduce the cash cover on safes using rotunda deposit traps.  All Rotunda Deposit Traps are available facing front or rear only.  Plastic deposit cassette boxes are also available on request. 

RDV Drawer Trap

The RDV drawer trap is a development on our popular RDV Range.  The RDV is manufactured to have a top safe and a bottom safe.  A front entry deposit drawer situated between the top and bottom safe will accept cash deposits to the lower unit for either collection by a cash collection company or cashing up by management.  

 Drawer Deposit

The drawer depositor can be adapted for various requirements.  The depositor can be fitted flush to the side or rear faces of the safe and can also be used to operate through a wall of 125mm thickness.  The Dual action depositing system guarantees total security at all times during its use.  The drawer depositor is locked by a cylinder cam action lock as standard. 

SMP also supply plastic containers especially designed to hold cash or valuables.  Cassette box seals are available for extra security, identification via no seals are also available on request. 

Dual Chamber Internal Depositing System (RDV)

In SMP’s dual chamber internal depositing system, differing quality cash risk units are possible, being incorporated into one unit.  Cash deposits can be made from the upper chamber into the lower chamber, which is designed with dual locking for cash collection purposes. 

Deposit Slot

The deposit slot is a quick and easy way to deposit cash.  This feature is available as a standard size 150mm x 25mm or custom made to suit customer’s requirements.  The deposit slot is fully baffled to resist ‘Fishing’ and can be positioned; top, side, rear or front dependant on individual needs. 

A telescopic version is also available if deposits need to go through walls etc. 

Anti Hold up Coffer

The anti hold up coffer is specifically designed to remove the risk of everyday armed hold ups in high risk areas of ‘over the counter’ cash handling situations reducing the risk of casual snatch attacks, internal pilfering, giving off site control or employing cash handling/collection agencies.  There are various features for the anti hold up coffer which include bleeper when ready to open, electronic time delay, audit trail readout etc.
