	Strong Room Door / Metal Security Doors / Vault Doors SMP Metal Security Door & Vault Door SMP Strong Room Doors provide a range of protection for documents and valuables, and with the optional extras available, this enables you to select exactly the right door to suit your needs. The SMP Metal Security Door The door & Boltwork: The metal security doors outer door plate is of 25mm thick, high grade set (BS 4360-43a), reinforced to 32mm around the edges by the integral lock case sections. The total thickness of the door is 160mm. The front edge of the security door is secured by fire 32mm dia. moving bolts operated by a lever handle, while the back edge is secured by fire fixed bolts of the same diameter. Standard fitting of internal emergency release. Locking: The boltwork for the security door is secured by either a seven lever, anti-drill keylock or of four wheel keyless combination lock. The lock is protected by a 20mm thick drill-and-torch-resisting cast plate, giving a total thickness over the lock of 50mm Multi-locking facilities and time locks fitted as required. Anti- Explosive Devices: The door is fitted with three randomly positioned anti-explosive devices. A live A.E.D protects the boltwork overtime the door is locked, while the two dead A.E.D.s are connected by stainless steel wire to a glass plate which would shatter in an attack, releasing spring loaded mechanisms. Fire Protection: Heat resisting material is secured behinds the lock case cover Door frame: The security doors frame is constructed of 100mm x 100mm x 12mm angle with a flat bottom bar. The door and frame may be secured by either grip-lugs or grip-frame and tie bars, or else by vestibule plates and grip-frame. Finish: Standard Pearl. Wall thickness: Will fit standard wall thickness of 229mm/ 305mm or 356mm or special thickness to customer requirements. The SMP Book Door Specification: As for the SMP Security Door, expect that the outer door plate of the Book door is 12mm thick, reinforced around the edges to 18mm and the total door thickness is 148mm. The SMP Fire Door This differs from the above is the following respects: Door & Boltwork: The outer plate of the Fire door is 6mm thick, reinforced to 12mm around the edges. The total thickness is 142mm. Anti - Explosive Device: A randomly positioned live re-locking device is fitted to the SMP Fire door, giving protection against explosives or force.
