Deposit locker Project

A local pawnbroker was looking to expand the business into other areas. The company asked us for advice regarding safe deposit lockers for their premises. After our team discussed the specifications and requirements with the client and surveyed the site, we got to work designing, building and installing a strongroom to house 1000 safe deposit lockers. 

London Deposit Centre Project

SMP was approached by what is now one of the largest Safe Deposit Centres in London to install the strongrooms & lockers across their ground and first floors. 

The Groundwork & planing

Generally speaking, first-floor installations for strongrooms pose more complications. To ensure that materials and equipment are brought upstairs safely, our teams conducted a site survey before installation. In conclusion, We completed the job in as little as 16 weeks, delivering the project on time and within budget.

Added layers of security 

A successful, safe deposit centre requires more than just a well-built strongroom and ample locker space. As part of strongroom or safe deposit centre installations, I recommend installing access control systems. furthermore, we installed several advanced security measures at this particular centre to make it as secure as possible. Among these were ballistic-proof pay windows, airlock doors, and biometric fingerprint readers.

Protecting a Safe Deposit Centre

Firstly daytime protocols. Staff control & biometric locker activation system.

Secondly, nighttime protocols. protecting the building by an intruder detection system that monitors windows, doors, walls, and ceilings for potential attacks. Live audio warnings and policy responses can be detected and monitored using an IP dial-up camera.
